Spyware Search And Destroy

Search and Destroy by Spybot had been around has been around for a long, long time with over 100,000,000 downloads alone on CNET. So it's a no brainer, right? That many people download it then it must be the best computer virus removal.

Well, yes and no.

It does get 4 out of 5 votes from the user reviews at CNET, and that is out of 5100 reviews! So, if you you got it most likely it would work for you. The editor's at CNET only give it 3 out of 5 because it tends to always have some bugs and false positives.

Here is a list a awards they have won in 2009:

Shareware.eu -- 5 Stars Award
Best Software 4 Download -- 5 Stars Award
Best Freeware Download -- 5 Stars Award
Chip.eu -- 5 Stars Award
FileCluster -- 5 Stars
Best Privacy Software in 2009
Computer BILD Top 250 Downloads
BestVistaDownloads -- 5 Stars Award
Filesland.com -- 5 Stars Award
PCFreunde.de Editors' Choice
Dowload4a rated -- 5 Stars

So what does this list mean? Well, it does mean that a lot of people in the industry are fans of this software. Now, I am not an expert. This page is research I have done to help you make your own decision, but if it were me, I would check around.

On one hand they seem to have a really good track record with their users, which to me, is important. They obviously have won some awards, but how legit are those awards is another story. Everyone of them could be 100% legit, I don't doubt that, but check a few of them out before you make the plunge.

I hope this isn't just one more review that confuses you. The idea here was to just give you the info and give my take on the what I found out about the product.

Computer security couldn't be more important than it is today. Do not let it happen to you. I have had it happen and I don't want anybody to go throught mess that I did

this generation of hackers are grown individuals who are more than likely earning a living by stealing the identities of innocent, law abiding individuals and then selling those identities to others who want to slip by the system.

Today's hackers aren't the pimply-faced teen rebels that you might be thinking of. People are criminals and big time mob type guys doing some of this stuff. Buy so good stuff or you will be screwed
